Yesterday Prime Minister Donald Tusk took part in commemorations of the 20th anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin Wall.

Sixth Polish-Spanish Intergovernmental Consultations

After the meeting with PM of the Kingdom of Spain José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, PM Donald Tusk stressed that Polish-Spanish relations are based on mutual understanding and friendship. “Poland and Spain have no conflicting interests both within the European Union or in bilateral relations,” assessed Prime Minister. Both PMs chaired the Sixth Polish-Spanish Intergovernmental Consultations held in Sopot today.

PM’s meeting with the French president

Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with the President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris under the framework of Polish-French intergovernmental consultations. The meeting addressed such issues as the European security and defence policy, nuclear energy cooperation, EU’s Common Agricultural Policy and climate protection.
